Dear Lord, please use me:
To take over hearts in my nation;
To bring healing to my generation.
Dear Lord, please show me:
How to lift these children’s sadness;
And end the violent madness.
Dear Lord, please teach me:
To number my days very meekly;
To wait patiently and seek Thee.
Dear Lord, please mould me:
To love the things that please You;
To honour those who love You.
Father, I beg You to help me:
To grow out of my many flaws;
And to the devil, seal all open doors.
Lord, I beg You to keep me:
In constant consciousness of my calling;
And save me from pride that leads to falling.
Dear Lord, please give me:
An ever-growing vision of who You are;
That I never perceive holiness as from afar.
Above all, Lord; please hold me:
Daily closer to Yourself;
That loving You becomes my greatest wealth.
